Newmarks Yacht Centre offers fee based public Wi-Fi access. Wi-Fi is available to every slip in the marina and all of the common areas. Our Wi-Fi service utilizes a high-speed internet connect and has 5 outdoor broadcasts points.
When visiting the Yacht Centre, to obtain access to the Internet simply have your computer scan for the nearest access point (hot spot), connect to Newmarks and sign up for an account. We offer daily, weekly and monthly accounts.
Occasionally you may receive an error that it will not obtain an IP access, or that you have "Limited or No Connectivity". When either of these occurs try a different hot spot, if you get the same result please notify the ship's store. The most common cause of this problem is that you are too far from the hot-spot and can receive its transmission but cannot in turn transmit back. The equipment on our side uses boosted signals for stronger signals and stronger antennas to cover the entire marina. In this situation, you may need a signal booster.
This service is Operating System independent requiring no special setup in order to work on Windows and Mac computers.
