Clean Up Green Up addresses the cumulative health impacts of industrial land uses adjacent to homes, schools, parks, and other sensitive users in communities most impacted from an over concentration of industrial pollution sources. Clean Up Green Up will propose the development of land use-related performance standards for new or expanding projects coupled with City-led efforts to assist and incentivize existing businesses in their effort to comply with current environmental regulations.
